Luscious Lips

I guess its usual for ladies to powder their noses and re-apply their lipsticks after a meal. But for some reason, the women in my office, choose to perform this ritual right at their desks! There's a washroom for god's sake.. but no, after lunch, you'll see all the female staff with their tiny mirrors in hand, painting the town.. oops, lips, red.

This sight reminded me of a funny conversation I had with some friends. A bunch of guys and girls, we were chatting over coffee, and for some reason I dont remember now, the conversation veered to animal content in consumer products. My friend R (a guy), very solemnly informed us that lipsticks contain an ingredient produced from fish scales, therefore, is not 'vegetarian'. Now, R happens to be a vegetarian. However, most guys I know dont use lipstick, so I wondered out loud why it was such a concern to R. Very innocently, he replies "Guys dont use lipstick, but we end up consuming most of it". We cracked up! He was right.. but it was really funny! Of course, this was followed with logical suggestions from us that R can carry a tissue pack, and wipe her lips first, before he kisses any girl. I am not sure if the suggestion was acted upon :)
