Unemployed research scholar at large!
Now who would have thought that a blog existed with such a name? Who?And who would have then thought that I would be able to use this title appropriately for my post? Who?
Ah well. You have much to learn in this world, my friend. Yes, we all live and learn.
So, A has taken time off his endeavour for Permanent Head Damage to visit me. Yes, in some elite circles his endeavour is also known as PhD. Well, a rose is a rose... what's in a name... blah blah blah. Except that he doesnt paint a very rosy picture of his research. But he is also very quick to point out that getting paid for doing 'nothing much' is great. I'm sure it is. Sigh.
So, Cas and A, wound back the time machine, returned to when they were atleast 10 years younger, and had a ball of a time at Disneyland today. We shot at the evil emperor Zurg as Junior Rangers, sang along 'Hakunamatata' at the Lion King festival, watched Beauty seduce the Beast, screamed through Space Mountain rollercoasters, spinned ourselves silly in Teacups and walked the red carpet at the Golden Mickeys show. Much fun was had. Many photographs were taken, for memories sake. And above all, the day was spent smiling. Willingly.
:)
